Evans Hydraulic coated drumheads feature two layers of thin film for maximum durability, and a fat, deep, short sound pioneered by early 70s rock and roll. The unique translucent coating provides extra warmth, focus, and depth. Hydraulics are notoriously easy to tune, making them a perfect solution for troublesome drums and players with little tuning experience. The red and blue are both made from 2 plies of 7 mil film while the black is 6.5 mil by 7.5 mil.
