The RØDE M3 is an extremely versatile condenser microphone, equally at home in the studio, on stage or in the field. It is ideal for recording acoustic guitars, drums and percussion, and even vocals.
The 1/2” condenser capsule is housed in a robust metal housing and features an internal shock mount. The M3 can be powered by either P48 phantom power or a 9V battery. A switchable attenuation switch (–10dB or –20dB) is located in the battery compartment and is ideal for recording high-level sources such as a guitar amp or snare drum. The switchable high-pass filter cuts out handling noise and other interference below 80Hz. The RØDE M3 is designed and manufactured in Australia and is backed by an outstanding 10-year RØDE warranty.
