Designed and manufactured in Australia, the M5 is a compact 1/2” cardioid condenser microphone with low noise and full bandwidth.
Drawing on the experience gained from the award-winning NT5 microphone, RØDE has succeeded in producing an excellent permanently polarised pencil condenser microphone that will impress the most demanding artists and sound engineers. Ideal for studio and stage, the M5 excels with acoustic instruments, choirs and in any situation where you would traditionally use a small-diaphragm condenser microphone, in mono or stereo. Each matched pair is carefully selected to ensure a sensitivity variation of no more than 1dB between the mics. Each pair comes with a certificate confirming the authenticity of the pair. The M5 is finished with RØDE's special ceramic coating in matte black. Two WS5 windscreens and two RM5 stand mounts are included with the pair of microphones.
