The innovative Noise Eater sound absorption systems help V-Drums users to play at any time of day without disturbing other members of the household or nearby neighbors. One of the many advantages of V-Drums – and in particular their patented mesh pads – is their extremely low volume and the ability for drummers to play with headphones, for practice or recording, on occasions when playing on acoustic drums is not possible. However, the use of bass drum and hi-hat pedals produces physical shocks that in turn produce noise and vibrations in multi-storey structures that are transmitted through the floor to the levels below.

According to Roland tests, the powerful isolation properties of Noise Eater systems reduce sound transmitted to adjacent rooms by approximately 75%, enabling drummers to play day or night in situations where noise would otherwise be a problem.
