For those of you who like to create a natural rhythm to accompany your reading, the StompinBass is the perfect solution.
The Stompin'Bass features a unique, compact design that is very rugged and road worthy with a high quality Shadow NanoMAG pickup system. It adds dynamic percussion for soloists and bands alike. The Stompin' Bass is played simply by tapping the surface with your foot, and its angular design allows for hours of relentless use. Enhancing the sound of solo artists, but also a band without a percussive instrument. Made of select rosewood that is often used for high class bass guitars the StompinBass worksis a unique instrument that adds dynamic percussion for soloists and bands alike.
The removable back extension supports your heel, and the non-slip surface keeps the Stompin Bass in place. Toneful bubinga wood houses patented NanoMag high-quality microphone shadows. Combined, they produce a very natural, warm and deep percussive sound. The Stompin Bass is shielded making it free from noise and interference.
The StompinBass is versatile and easy to use. The sloping top gives a player comfort and easy use with the foot. You can play it using either your fingers or your heel. The bottom of the StompinBass is covered with a special anti-slip material.
Due to the NanoMAG pickup and active electronics inside the StompinBass delivers, unlike other similar percussion products, a full, deep and warm bass sound. As it is a humbucker, it is free from 50/60 Hz hum. A fully shielded case and low impedance output protect it from external magnetic disturbances and makes it totally hum-free.
The electronic circuit is powered by a 9V battery with extremely low power consumption. The battery turns on automatically, as soon as you plug the instrument cable into the stick socket. To extend the battery life, take the cable outside, when not in use.
Depending on your gear and its EQ setup, the material of your shoes and how hard you stomp, you will get different sounds.
The StompinBass has a standard output jack, which can be plugged directly into any PA or EQ, pedals, guitar amplifier you like, to produce the tone and volume that best suits your style.
